Week 5 - (North) The Quiet Knowing
Element: Earth
Theme/Invitation: Come home to what’s always been true.
Grandmother Archetype: The Grandmother of Stones - She holds the deep knowing you’ve always carried. She doesn’t rush or strive. She sits in truth and reminds you of the strength found in stillness.
Animal Ally: Buffalo – Keeper of sacred rhythm. Buffalo teaches us how to carry only what’s needed and move through life with quiet power and grace.
Ritual Guide
This week, we turn toward the North, the place of winter, wisdom, and stillness.

This is about listening to what’s already within you. Not learning more. Not doing more. Just remembering what you’ve always known deep down.

We’ll work with the energy of Earth, the Grandmother of Stones, and the steady, grounded medicine of Buffalo.

What you’ll need:
-
Your white candle
-
A stone, piece of earth, or object that feels ancient and grounding
-
Something for your altar that represents wisdom or stillness (bone, tree branch, photo of an elder, etc.)
-
Your sacred object for the week
-
Pen and paper
-
A quiet space where you won’t be interrupted
-
Optional: a warm shawl or blanket, and something earthy like incense, cedar, or soil nearby
-

This week is about slowing down enough to hear your own knowing. The kind that lives in your bones. The kind you didn’t have to earn, it’s been with you all along.
Sacred Object Work
This week, choose a sacred object that feels steady, ancient, or deeply rooted.

Let it represent the quiet wisdom within you, the part that knows without needing to explain.
The stillness beneath the noise. The truth you’ve carried all along.

We’ll work with it during the ritual to anchor your remembering.

You might choose:
-
A stone, fossil, or piece of earth that feels grounding
-
An object passed down from an elder or ancestor
-
A bone, wooden token, or symbol of resilience
-
Something that reminds you of who you are when the world is quiet
There’s no right choice, only what speaks to you.
